Hi Tommy,

Today's puzzle rated one and half mugs of Orange Spice tea, and then a proud tomtara. I finished in about 30 minutes, with no major problems for a change. Maybe that's because I had no nominee for Lookup of the Day! Nice puzzle though, very enjoyable.

Notes along the way:
BE-A-TEN: Smile of the Day ... very clever clue.
AERATE: Had me going for quite a while. I started off trying to finding an anagram of "berate" with no-t, before realizing I didn't have enough letters! Then I was trying to force in AEROBE, before finally getting the "not B but A" inference.
BELITTE: another childish smile ... that's two today!
FERRIC: Brilliant use of "iron-ic" ... very tongue in cheek.
SKIM ... Clue of the Day! Absolutely superb use of "apres-ski". I'm very jealous of this one!

Lots of good stuff in this puzzle, Tommy. Very enjoyable.
