Hi Tommy,

Another enjoyable puzzle from the Tomster. YOu are getting very consistent!

Sadly, I missed three answers today: BITTER (kicking myself ... I love a good pint of bitter), MARINA (still trying to work it out!) and PESSIMISM (tough one!).

My notes along the way:

ISOSCELES: great use of "May day" for SOS ... made a note of that one!
CELEBRANT: a well hidden anagram.
METEOR: great(?) minds think alike. I had a similar clue in WEB 028.
MARINA: still trying to work out the "dr. not DR." part of the clue! Can you explain it for me?
MASTICATE: I admit to guessing here!
SCARED: nice pairing of "a revolutionary" in today's puzzle.
SCREEN: Clue of the Day! I just loved your deletion here as it was really well disguised and read so well. One of the best clues I have seen in a long time.
ALTIMETER: classic, and efficient use of words in the clue.
TERRORISM: I really like your use of more than the "a" "the" words from foreign languages.
BARTENDER: like ALTIMETER ... classic and efficient.
PAP: belt and braces clue, just like Crosaire!
BEETLE: Lookup of the Day ... I didn't know that a BEETLE described a protuberance until now.

Keep them coming, Tommy.

Hi Bill,

I am glad you are enjoying the challenge.

My thinking with the dr. not DR. was 'little doc[k]', although granted some marinas are quite extensive, but I was thinking of little dock for smaller craft, in that sense. Not being convinced that I was being altogether fair I added in the airman reference, just to be sure.

Ohhh, gotcha, Tommy. I would never have gotten there myself. Thanks!
