Just spotted your comment re printing...I had difficulty with SUNWEB14...couldn't view the file when I clicked on 'Print the puzzle (pdf)' link...it 'stopped'....I work in Windows using Firefox as a browser...my other half works in MAC using Safari...by downloading Safari for Windows I was able to get round the problem...no problem opening it in Safari...just checked five minutes ago and that's still the case...can't open using Firefox but no problem with Safari...
Never experienced any problems with your earlier puzzles...did you change something?
And now the puzzle!
...you beat me fair and square...was short ARTIFICE, SNORER and GRACIE...great puzzle though...
A couple of lucky guesses...ANNULI...a nice new word for me...and UREMIA...yuck!
Loved 'suck these lemons...' SOLEMN!, TEFLON, ALMOND, FIVE LAMPS and HOSTA...and many more
Thanks Tommy and looking to that Saturday grid for WEB15.
A Crosaire fan and lover of France, after my family of course. A Teacher of Math/Physics. I like to try to play golf and have recently started to compile my own cryptic crosswords.
I would like to thank my online friend, Bill Butler, for his inspirational website and blog at www.crosaire.paxient.com This site has greatly enhanced my experience of the Crosaire crossword from The Irish Times, and with Bill's help and encouragement I have taken to submitting my own attempts at compiling to him and he has published my earlier efforts. I am enjoying the creation of puzzles, as much as solving them, and greatly appreciate it when people take the time to try them. If, they then take the time to comment, it is even more encouraging for me. Thank you to all who have done so. I will continue to try to confound you.
